After Cara Delevingne Opened Up About That Concerning Airport Video Giving Her A “Wake-Up Call” To Get Help, She Has Reflected On How Her Girlfriend Minke Has Supported Her
Almost two years after a video of Cara at the airport sparked concern, the British model is thriving — and people literally couldn’t be happier for her.
In September 2022, Cara Delevingne sparked concern when a video of her behaving erratically at Van Nuys Airport emerged online.
“There’s an element of feeling invincible when I’m on drugs. I put myself in danger in those moments because I don’t care about my life,” she said, adding that she behaved recklessly while at the festival and was covered in bruises by the time she got home.
And now, more than 18 months after the airport footage started to circulate, Cara has taken to her social media page to reflect on the “growth” and “pain” she has gone through over the past couple of years as she paid tribute to her girlfriend, Minke, on their two-year anniversary.
In her post’s caption, she wrote: “Two magical years with you and so many pictures of us kissing in front of things ❤️ These past two years have been A LOT of life. A lot of change, growth, pain and most importantly LOVE and I am so lucky to have found the perfect person to ride life’s ups and downs with."
“I cannot imagine living life without you,” Cara went on. “I spent so long looking for my partner in crime, little did I know that it would be someone I went to school with (and had a baby gay crush on). Here’s to many more years being us…”
Meanwhile, Minke shared even more photos of herself and Cara on her Instagram page, where she wrote: “Every day is better with your light. My rock, my safe space, my home.”
